Arthur Pendragon was a lot of things.
He was heir to Camelot Designs, a fashion and magazine empire in it's own right. He was valedictorian of his business college, a feat he was quite proud of even years later. He was well known as being strict, firm, and serious in his line of work, but being laid back and quite flirtatious in his private life. He was known for many different things all through out his life. But there was one thing he wasn't.
And that was subtle.

Merlin watched Pendragon Electronics, a dominating organization with many known rivals, rise from the ground up. With the position to be an receptionist opened up, he leaped at the opportunity and wouldn’t you know, he got in.
What Merlin never expected was for him to become the esteemed heir to this expansive empire, Arthur Pendragon, right hand man as his personal receptionist. Over the course of five years he’s built up a relationship with those in the company and with the mighty Arthur himself.
Although it's tedious work – answering phone calls, arranging meets and then pushing them, and dealing with customers – it’s good pay and Merlin’s happy in his position. But, there is just one problem: he’s got the biggest crush on Arthur.
And perhaps it was a higher power looking down on him that night and granting him the chance of a lifetime but during a night out team-bonding with those working at the company, Merlin gets a page from Arthur to return back to Pendragon Electronics.
Perhaps he’s bit off more than he can chew, and the same goes for Arthur as well.

Arthur is tired of people only wanting to date him for his money. After his latest break-up, about which he isn't very broken up at all, he decides dating just isn't for him. But his best friends at least want him to talk to other humans outside the office, and they get him into a fandom space on Discord.Sometimes what you don't even know you're looking for ends up right in front of you.
