When the Aces acquired Jeff in a trade, the GM's press release described him as "responsible."
It took Jeff awhile to realize the Aces had already planned to draft Parse, and the GM was stacking his roster with role models to make sure his first round pick didn't implode in Vegas before Parse matured enough to be trusted.
But Parse was sharp. He knew what people'd been saying about him since Juniors. Parse probably figured out why the GM signed Jeff long before they met.
The one where Swoops first met Parse and Scraps, where Parse is both a literal charmer and Has A Type, and Swoops begins the first of so, so many regrets about his life and his choices re: one Kent Parson only obviously not enough to actually like, change them.
Less regrets about Scraps though, so there's that?

Not that you’ve been keeping count. That would be cliche and completely ridiculous of you. You aren’t some girl in some romcom, despite the fact that you just got dumped by the love of your life-your fiance-your now ex-boyfriend of five wonderful fucking years. No, you’re just some stupid university student suffering through the existential dread of knowing nobody will ever love you like he did because you’re a shithead who doesn’t know how to not ruin things.
You feel thirteen again, all self loathing and a depressive episode that has become more of a too long series than just an episode. It hurts. It hurts and you miss him.

Or, Hawks finds his quirk amplified and has to deal with all of the new impulses and urges. It doesn't help that the members of the league of villains decide to be devils on his shoulder accepting and encouraging his more predatory nature every chance they get.

Keigo choked on his own spit.The thing was, he (somehow) liked Dabi. And he'd stupidly been flirting with a villain for weeks now, and it was probably stupid to assume nothing would happen. Except he'd never dated anyone, let alone held someone's hand, or even had a crush. The Commission taught him ways to act, not how to deal with personal feelings. He is naturally terrible at expressing his personal feelings.

Scoring is a necessity in any hockey game, but good sauce is needed in a fast game even more. And the Islanders are fast.
Travis Konecny needs to score. He knows he needs to score, and he hasn't been able to in the bubble. At all. Which is crap, and he doesn't know what to do about it. Provy and Hartsy are helping each other, Hayes is doing his best, which is great, and G is always on. But TK needs a goal.
He needs a goal, and a particular teammate could always get one for him. But he's not here, and TK needs him too.
(Or, with the last few games against the Canadiens and the first against the Isles, Provorov is backing up his goalie, Konecny and Sanheim are helping Hayes, and he, Farabee and Pitlick are getting all the good shots on goal that Konecny wants. The ones that he and Patrick could always get, together. But Nolan isn't here, and it's a tough series)

When Ransom and Holster had first told him that they’d gotten him a ticket for a Summer cruise, he’d thought they’d been pulling his leg. However, they were quick to explain that sometime around January, they’d found a raffle for a cruise. A few months after entering though, Ransom found an email waiting for him saying that he’d won one of the three raffled tickets. When Bitty had been announced as the next year’s captain, both he and Holster agreed that Bitty should have something fun to do that Summer before going into his senior year.
Jack knew from the start that joining the Falconers team was one of the best decisions he’d ever made, but now he was beginning to question if that was true or not. He’d made some amazing friends through the team, but as he boarded the ship, it occurred to him just how absurd this all really was. Who else’s friends would sign them up for a cruise without telling them?
