Pom isn't like anyone else. She is some unknown creature from some unknown part of space, and she is sick of being a test subject.
As a mimic, of sorts, she manages (through the power of an HR rep not doing their job) to join the Rescue Corps and gets sent out to an unexplored planet.
Can she figure out her job and how to be a person for long enough to avoid suspicion? Or will she have to run away again?

Summary
Captain Olimar is trying to return home before his third child is born. An unexpected meteor throws a serious wrench in his plans. Now he's stranded on an alien planet with a broken ship. To complicate matters, he's the one currently pregnant with his about-to-be-born third child.
Luckily, the planet Olimar crashed on is home to an alien species that seems eager to help him repair his ship. But the clock is ticking towards both the baby's due date and the failure of his life support, and the planet is full of many other dangers. Will the Pikmin's help be enough to get him home before it's too late?

Every time she try to get it, rescue all the castaways, save all the leaflings, collect all the treasures, see all the creatures, finish all the quests, find all the Onions, do EVERYTHING, she always wakes up back at the beginning of her journey. She’s tried thousands of times to change something, ANYTHING, but every time, the order is the same. Russ, Schnauz, Leafling, Kingsly, Dingo, the order just never changes. Pom finds herself on yet another trip to the planet PNF-404, and finds that something has changed. For once, something changed, and yet, it’s something that sets off a chain reaction everywhere, and Pom is only left confused on what changed, and why she’s been given a chance to escape this never ending nightmare.

Olimar jumped, seeming to have been lost in thought. He sighed, turning away from Dingo to pet Moss.
Dino darted forward, grabbing Olimar’s arm and forcing the hocation to look at him.
“I read the logs; I know you didn’t find the dog until after you got leafed.”
Olimar yanked his arm back with a hiss and Dingo saw a small flash of Olimar’s yellow eyes. Seemingly realising that Dingo wasn’t going to be deterred, he leaned his weight into Moss, who whined, trying to reach him to lick at his helmet.
“…I told her the version of the story I’m going to tell my kids.” Olimar’s voice was barely above a whisper.
