Lots of fluff, angst, and sex. And plot.

The strangest thing about the certified disaster that is Mindoir is the rumors coming from the batarian prisoners captured at West Edge, a rapidly-growing town on the northwestern shoreline of the bigger of the planet’s two continents.
West Edge, with its silverpines and cooler weather and mountains, is a small, rocky sanctuary on a planet with sweeping plains and rainforests aplenty. It’s a town with potential to be a tourist destination in the future, a perfect spot for resorts and hiking and outdoors adventures, a welcome respite to both off-world visitors and other residents of Mindoir—or with former potential, more accurately.
And now, after it has been thoroughly ravaged by the batarians, Anderson is hearing rumors that West Edge is haunted.
