The Suppression Bureau would call it duty, Connie calls it a necessary evil, and those who escaped her call her many other names, but the crimes remain nonetheless.
Brancrug offers an alternative, a choice even. She is not sure what that choice is yet, but her instincts tell her that it is in fact, a choice. Of course, nothing is ever as simple as choice- or even the repair of a burned down library. Something always hides beneath the surface, or coils, or flutters, but it is there, even if it can only be seen in Numa.

Mc transmigrates as a spiritual body after his death next to the just waking Klein. He became a black bellied magic grandpa like existence for Klein and also a good friend and teacher. When mc got pulled into an unfortunet guy's body he obtained the hunter path with it. Mc not too caught up in improving his sequence as it doesn't fit his style (the mastermind pulling the strings behind the scenes) plus his two ability from the previous life is much more useful and fitting for him.
In short Mc is a shameless blackbellied amnesiac big boss from the 2(?)nd age who loves to persecute his fellow 'travelers'.
