When the Child, back when they were still alive and dead at the same time, had noticed, oh shit, Star Wars. And they decided to just… not. They ran away, moved to an uninhabited moon with a couple of droids, ready to live out the rest of their life hermit style.
Then they got shanghaied to Mortis.
They need a domain or something, they have been told. They would love it if they could just pick a rock from the ground and make that their entire personality, but since they’ve been adopted, they have too much of the Ones in them to go to an unrelated direction.
It can’t be Light Side or Jedi, that’s the Daughter’s, it can’t be Dark Side or Sith, that’s the Son’s, and it can’t be the Force as a whole. That's the Father’s, and the Father does not share, even when he leaves.
So the Child thinks.
And wonders if the clones have been made yet?
Because the clones can belong to the Jedi but they are not the Army of Light, they might be made by the Sith but they’re not entirely Sithspawn. They are Force adjacent, Force used, Force necessary… but they don’t really belong. Which is great because neither do they. -
