'I suppose not' he said begrudgingly. The Old Man smiled
'Since I'm feeling generous, I will also teach you a trick for finding Shrines'
How. Would. He. Know? Clairvoyance?
'It's always best to survey the arena by looking around from a high point. How about you make your way to the top of that tower again?'
'You're joking?' Link snapped. The Old Man fell silent, surprised at the, albeit mild, outburst. After a moment he chuckled.
'I am afraid not.' He said cautiously 'but if you want the paraglider' he trailed off. Link sighed before nodding and setting off on his way.
The Old Man watched after him, his brows furrowed in worry.
'Perhaps' he muttered to himself, 'Perhaps, indeed'TLDR
What if the "hero" before the events of skyward sword wasn't a hero at all.

When link turned ten his father being his only family left is taken by the goddess and link is forced to become the hero and fight his father’s king and his sword that he had meet as a child. However his memory was messed and with making it so he will only remember this when it is time alone with his demon blood being locked away.Also what if the goddess isn’t what people think she is but really the person who wants to take over everything and Demise wants peace though out the land.
