“Yes,” she finally whispered. “Rumi has patterns. But she is not a demon.”
“Then you’re going to explain everything, right now, or I walk. And when I tell Zoey, she will too. You know she will.”
Celine let the silence hang for just a moment before solemnly nodding in agreement. “If we’re going to have this conversation now, I’m going to need a drink first. And Zoey should be here."

Rumi ignored her chest squeezing.
“-A stunning girlfriend, Mira. I mentioned her, right? My girlfriend Mira-” The woman stopped abruptly and lowered her head down into her arms. “Jeez, Zoey, stop rambling at the deaf woman.” It was muffled, but Rumi heard it.
Silenced by grief, Rumi’s world is transformed when she crosses paths with Mira and Zoey, who guide her toward a voice she thought was lost forever.

Mira with Zoey holding her arm in a death grip: Hey, my girlfriend saw you from across the record shop, and we really dig your vibe. Can we buy you a vinyl?

Notes:
I didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did (I also need the tagalog version of the soundtrack on spotify right this second). This would have been out earlier if I hadn't watched it like ten times and spent the week indulging in the polytrix fics that came out so damn fast. AO3 authors really do the Lord's work.Please enjoy this short little cutesy story I have written. It’s not the smut I wanted to post but it’s fine. When I am no longer busy, I am so going to write more of these three.
