Every person you pass on the street, wave a thanks to when they let you cut in during heavy traffic, or, slides you your change after you buy some ill advised late night snacks, has their own hugely important and meaningful life. When you leave that 7/11 and start your walk back home in the crisp 3am air, that cashiers' life continues on, without you. Is that not incredible?
