Frisk wakes Flowey up early a few days after they escape the barrier, wanting to show him something wonderful. Flowey's grumpy because it's five in the morning, but Frisk's surprise turns out to be well worth it.
Set in the Underfell universe in a Neutral Route where Flowey and Frisk escaped the Underground, along with a few other monsters.

This flower strove endlessly for perfection. Six petals, seven souls. Again, one petal shy of perfection. The flower lay, wilted in the ray of light, barely shining into the underground. He needed the light, else he would surely die.
Frisk visits Flowey in the underground and takes him up to see the surface much to Flowey's dismay.
So much has changed on the surface in one year, monsters are a normal part of society now.
Adjusting to the surface will be hard for Flowey but luckily Frisk and Toriel have his back.Series

Gift fic for Is_A_Zombie. The request was, "Maybe the pair get past Undyne and make it to the broken statue, without serious wounds, only small cuts and bruises. So they take a break and they reflect on matters."
As they sit under the statue, treating each other's wounds, Flowey asks why Frisk feels the need to spare everyone after they've both been killed many times, angry about the risks she takes. Her answer makes him understand why.

After hundreds of runs (most of them dull, neutral, and repetitive), Frisk is desperate for something new.
So when Flowey manages to kill them at the beginning of a run, they’re all too eager to let him absorb their soul.
Chara, on the other hand, is not too happy about this turn of events.
But the three now share a body, and they’ll have to do all they can to get monsterkind out from the mountain they’re trapped under…
Because this isn’t the only thing that’s changed in the Underground.
