She was the one that got away.
Rosemary (Rosie) May Thorne and Harvey Scott Klein attended premed and medical school together at Zuzu City University. They had feelings for each other and were aware of how the other felt, but medical school and residency pressures (among other things) caused Rosemary to place boundaries keeping them from dating. Eventually they drift apart.
When Rosemary gets burned out as a doctor, she decides it's time for a change. She moves to Pelican Town to take over her maternal grandfather's farm. 5 years prior to this, Harvey moved to Pelican Town to take over the Medical Clinic. As if by fate, they are together again in the same community, but it's...awkward. Will the farm thrive? Will Harvey and Rosemary find love in each other again? Or will someone else stir up trouble?

Maybe they missed a few steps here and there or turned in the wrong direction, but neither seemed to care. They were laughing as if they were the only people in the room. Zoey leaned into Aleks' touch as much as she could every time she held her by the waist or took her hand. But she couldn't ignore this feeling anymore, the feeling that she wanted more. Aleks was a surprisingly good leader in this dance and Zoey knew now that she would let her lead her anywhere.
OR
After Zoey gets sick of her job at Joja Corp. and Aleks gets dumped by her long-term girlfriend, the two close friends decide to move to Zoey's grandpa's old farm in Stardew Valley for a new beggining. Between farm work, killing monsters, meeting magic creatures of the forest and strange villagers, something starts to blossom between them. Something special, that could either kill or transform their friendship.

No matter how hard he tried, Sebastian couldn't pinpoint the moment he'd fallen in love with Sam. It came over him slowly, like the changing of seasons. One day you're wearing a t-shirt while your best friend drags you to yet another beach party, the next you notice the leaves are falling, and a faint scent of cinnamon lingers in the air whenever you pass the Saloon. For Sebastian, falling in love was like that: one day he and Sam were playing video games in his basement bedroom, the next, the sparkle in Sam's eyes when he won the latest round of Plumber Kart made his heart skip a beat.
But he never said anything, of course.

When Sam doesn't show up to Spirit's Eve as planned Sebastian grows concerned that something is amiss. Sebastian has been with Sam only one hour earlier, the two of them naked atop his bed testing the limits of a certain magical spell, and it isn't like him to skip a party. The only thing Sam would have missed the festival for would be an encore above the covers, and the only person yet to join the night is the farmer...
When the farmer arrives and proposes a game it slowly becomes clear what Sebastian has to do to find his friend. He decides to play the farmer's sex game and free his friends from hypnotic control, even if only for a chance to tell Sam something that has been on his mind.

He expects the farm life and the quiet. He does not expect Pelican Town's librarian.

After her beloved grandpa dies, she stops running as she's thrown back to his farm, finding any semblance of magic she once knew as a kid, awaiting the strawberry moon that rises as Fall begins.
Shane Callahan didn't care for strawberries, in fact he hated the stuff, it was too sweet, too colorful and too hopeful, but after going flat broke and nearly getting fired, he finds himself in the new "Ames in town"'s StrawberryMoon farm.

The farmer is married. The town is stable. The people are happy. Everything is fine. Since Lewis was roped into officiating the wedding of a living shadow to his local farmer (who also turned out to be more than he seemed), life has been fairly peaceful for the old mayor.
That was until the governor wanted a visit.
This itself isn't a problem, but when two sides of Lewis' world meet, his week is about to get a lot more dangerous.
