Tim Drake is stationed at Gotham University under the guise of “monitoring” him. He’s expecting horror. He finds… a surprisingly good syllabus, a strange sense of calm, and a friend group that doesn’t know what a vigilante is.
Crane, for his part, knows exactly who Tim is. He doesn’t care, he just wants to teach. And maybe terrify a few freshmen along the way.

Gotham's dark gloomy sky perfectly represented the feeling of every night the Waynes and other affluent families would have as they gaze into the streets, not a bright shining star to be seen, just some visible sitting there from far away watching as chaos unfolded beneath with a few strays shooting from above. It perfectly represented the unrelenting clash of classes that was apparent in a divided Gotham City that was slowly falling further into darkness as no one dared to help

Zephrin is a freshman college student at Gotham University. They moved across the country alone for a fresh start after a rough and confusing childhood.
Danny is not safe in Amity Park. Between Vlad and the GIW Danny hasn't gotten more than 20 minutes to himself in years. He deserves a little vacation. With Sam and Tucker in tow the three move to Gotham for a well deserved break.
Tim has finally convinced Stephanie to take Bruce up on his offer for free college education. Recently she has been going a bit off the rails since her dad came back from Belle Reve and needs something other than vigilante work.
Adrien has had what he thinks has been a relatively normal upbringing but with the cost of living in Metropolis going up Adrien thinks it's time to find greener pastures. Both in the local villains and Himbo$. Honestly how bad could Gotham really be?
Zeph and other new faces to Gotham now have to learn traversing poverty, cut funding, Gotham typical villains and vigilantes, spectral beings, and running from the pasts they left behind.
"And really Gotham isn't really as bad as it seems right? So long as I have some caffeine in hand it will be fine."

Danny is forced to abandon his college English paper one morning when he denies a call to summon his ghost half. Sadly, though, as he dodges the summons to whatever and whoever, he felt it snag the closest ghostly being in his area instead. No way his ghost core was gonna let that go. Maybe Danny could talk his professor into an extension? Professors in Gotham can't be as bad as the thugs that infest its streets, right?
Meanwhile, Jason just wanted to go to bed after a long night with an overbearing Batman, and then ended up pulling double duty helping Duke into the actual daylight hours. With longing eyes, he let himself fall to his bed, finally ready to embrace a well-earned slumber. Too bad when he lay down, he found his body flopping down onto cold concrete surrounded by lots of candles and weird red chalk lines instead.
