90 years ago, Loki was banished to Midgard as a child, powerless and cast aside until death claimed his soul. A shade of what he used to be, and one forced to take the mantra of someone long since departed from this realm... All of that changed when he met a frail and sickly boy by the name of Steve Rogers, who turned Loki's life upside down and gave him a new purpose in life.
90 years later, Steve (After the initial shock of finding himself in the realm of Gods) stormed the halls of Asgard to bring his husband back home after being separated seventy years ago, all the while making sure to give Odin a punch or two and maybe break his nose.... Much to Loki's delight.

Edit, 2025: I wrote that description in 2018 when I first started this and am only now realising it may be just slightly too vague a description. Hindsight, 20/20, so on so forth.
One day, while tucked in a hospital bed after an incident of her own creation (though she will deny it up and down), Steve Rogers allows Nora Joseph to write a letter to his best friend, out on the front lines while painkillers are filling her system. What follows is an exchange of letters that changes the course of Nora & Bucky's lives for good. or bad. who knows? Certainly not them.
