    “Seriously, Earth?” Venus raised an eyebrow; he was sitting on one of the chairs under the cabana, with Mercury and Mars both sitting nearby; the giants had also chosen the other side of the pool – Saturn was sitting directly in the sunlight, fanning himself, while Uranus was sitting underneath another cabana, looking a little irritated. The Sun was sitting farther away from the rest of them in his own corner, just staring (which… creepy?).

    Or; I literally wrote a self-indulgent fic where the planets all hang out at a pool.

    “I’m fine with not swimming,” Uranus said, dryly, where he was leaning against the bottom of the couch next to Saturn. “I’d rather not get pulled into the water again,” and he shot a sharp look up towards Saturn, who just grinned and shrugged.

    “This will be just as fun, I promise!” Earth turned and started towards the door. “Now come on! Our rides will be here any moment now. We’ll have to split up, though. Not all of us can fit into one car.” Luna sped up to stride next to him, and Earth tilted his head to see his worried expression.

    “What?” Jupiter interrupted before he could stop himself. The Sun shot him a harsh look, but Jupiter shook his head, too confused and disturbed to let it slide. “No, Sun, you can’t just drop this on me. What do you mean, Erebus is leaving his orbit?” He shot an anxious look behind himself. “He’s that close to the Solar System, that you can sense him?”

    Jupiter simply looked at him with an arched eyebrow, expression otherwise unchanging. He tilted his book upwards and turned the page, his lips twitching once as if he was amused. A little offended, Saturn let his mouth drop open. His lips curled into a smile as an idea crossed his mind. “Jupiter…” he said again, giving him one last chance to actually listen to him. Jupiter continued ignoring him, but his mouth slightly twitched again, as if he was hiding a smile. Undaunted, he let go of Jupiter’s arm and instead swung himself onto his lap, putting his face directly above the book he was holding.

    Or; Saturn is bored, and asks Jupiter to entertain him.
