Lance flushed then, because they had been talking about Lance while he wasn’t there and it was about something he hardly remembered.
“I don’t even remember that, Hunk,” he grumbled, though his face was hot and he knew it was no use.
“You could see his boner through his jeans.”
“Can you stop?”
Lance thought about that conversation a lot. He thought about it every time he ran into Keith at the gym, remembers the conversation being too casual as he fiddled with his messy hair and pretended not to be flustered when Keith mentioned that they needed to hang out more. Remembered wishing he were brave enough to ask Keith out so he could either get rejected and get over it or start something. Remembered trying desperately not to blush when Keith came down to the lower level of the gym and asked Lance to hold his feet while he did sit-ups. Tried hard not to remember the lap dance while he was doing so, but even consciously trying not to think about it was still thinking about it.

Keith was twelve years old when he was involved in a car accident with his family. After the near-death experience, Keith has found out something about himself: He can't die.
Cursed with a sort of Murphy's Law syndrome, he continuously gets himself in trouble and almost dies, but somehow surviving with little consequences. Whether it is some kind of super power or not, he doesn't know how it works, and isn't sure if he cares to find out.
Until he runs into Lance, who was only supposed to be his lab partner for some science project. But when he's around Lance, his body remembers how to be normal. Which is all fun and games until he learns that if he dies around Lance, he's not going to come back.

He stopped pacing around Shiro’s room, looking to the older man for help. “And that’s why I came to you. You’re so good at this leader stuff! I don’t have a single clue how to help them!”
“You just need a bit more practice,” Shiro assured him, from his position sitting on the edge of the bed. “Here, why don’t we try working through this, first? Let’s go person by person, and figure out what’s bothering them. The root of their issues."
Keith tries out 'helping his teammates by letting them vent/talk/whatever,' Lance loses his phone on multiple occasions, and Shiro is relieved to not be in charge anymore.
