I never got over how the Lucas&Diego episode ended for Venji, so I decided to use my headcanons and alter the story from there.
If only one person finds this story and it helps them feel more seen, I guess I might have done something right!I love this pairing and I feel we deserved to see more of them together, especially after what they have been gone through already.

Victor didn't know what to do next. But maybe that was okay. Maybe it was okay to take more time to think things through. After a rocky beginning in this new town followed by a whirlwind romance after finally being his true self, he starts to wonder if things might have gone a bit too fast. After consistent fights with Benji and dealing with his parents situation, maybe a break was a good idea. Maybe breaking up would give him the chance to grow, and if that leads him in a new direction? Maybe that's okay too.
This fic explores what could have happened if Victor didn't immediately choose anyone in season two, instead taking the time to learn more about himself. I will say I am a mediocre writer at best and am writing this largely for myself as this fandom has since died down, but I also wanted to see how writing Victor and Rahim together could go.
