My powers aren’t fully back yet.” Cole chimed in, “Watch your back out there!” Lloyd smiled at their support, but it faltered when he glanced in his mate’s direction.
Morro was scowling darkly, a resentful, resigned glare on his face as he crossed his arms. For a few seconds, Morro looked accusingly into his eyes. Lloyd is sure that he hasn’t looked so mad since before the Preeminant was defeated. Unless he counted when they found out Sensei’s plan, but back then, he seemed more hurt than angry.

“The fire, he's going for the fire!” Kai yelled. His sister joined him, “Someone stop him!” In one mighty leap, the samurai crashed through the roof, and the ninja slammed open the door. “NO!!” The samurai struck the fire, and because it was made of ice, it was completely snuffed out. As everyone stared in horror, the samurai turned to them. “You have one the battle. But without your fire, you will lose the war.”

Lloyd and Benthomaar bump into each other while on an outing, and the two instantly click. Lloyd starts to break out of his shell, and Benthomaar feels less lonely. And it only stemmed from there.

Morro’s right eye was gouged out of its socket, and his left was cloudy and dull, staring at him with a haunted expression. His Yang Medallion was broken. The sheer brutality of it all sent Lloyd into a panic attack. The air was sucked in too fast, too shallow, and he just couldn't breathe- A sharp pain exploded in his back as his legs couldn't support his weight.
“Lloyd!” Jay and Nya yelled, seeing their brother on the floor, sobbing as he struggled to breathe. They rushed over to him, one on either side. “Lloyd, what happened!?” Jay said, waving his hands frantically. Lloyd couldn't hear them. He was too focused on getting air into his lungs, the same air that Morro wields- wielded?- as easily as breathing.

Ninjago City is in ruins after Garmadon's resurrection and Lloyd suddenly finds himself on the precipice of defeat.
