Arjuna needed a moment to digest this verbal provocation. Obviously, it was much more than similarity of the words. While his name in its full majesty meant 'bright' or 'silver one', it could also mean a colorful, noisy jungle bird. What was a typical peacock like? Beautiful, graceful, demanding attention. And proud just because of it.
