Eight years ago, Simon Riley escaped from one of the biggest drug cartels in recent years, the Zaragoza Drug Cartel, run by a man called Manuel Roba. Simon hunted down all the people who tortured and threatened him, but he wasn't alone, he got help from a Scotsman who somehow worked for the cartel.
The man saved not only Simon, but also Simon's family, but was eventually arrested by the authorities and sentenced to a few years in prison, and Simon, wanting to pay off his debt to the man, did everything he could to get him out of prison, but one day he received a phone call that paralysed Simon.
After eight years, Simon is put on a mission in Mexico again, the mission involves apprehending a criminal nicknamed 'Carnage, the cartel killer'. Simon hardly knows who the man he's hunting is, but when he finds out, the situation turns upside down.

Simon Riley wasn’t popular in school, more so infamous than anything. He wasn't beloved by his peers, but revered and revelled at, like a town legend more than anything. To anyone else, he was a tall kid with short blonde hair, covered in bruises and scars, wearing a face mask with a permanent glare transfixed on his face. No one knew what really went on in the Riley household, and Simon never planned on anyone finding out. Then suddenly the new Scot kid is trying to befriend him and drag him along with his other friends, and his new neighbour and Literature teacher, Mr. Price is slowly prying behind closed curtains.
What is he supposed to do when secrets come out? When people realise he isn't as strong as he’s made out to be.

Ghost owed his existence to Manuel Roba, and he was going to pay that debt owed in kind. And so he becomes a vengeful spectre, a puppet of Santa Muerte, and the doom for the Zaragoza cartel and all it stood for.
A rewrite of Ghost's revenge on Manuel Roba and a larger look into where he could've gotten those guerilla warfare skills from. This popped into my head a while ago, it's pretty much going to be Ghost wrecking shit for a couple of thousand words to help set up the larger work I am slowly writing.

“Quite a fright for sun-enjoyers at Cloudbreak near Fiji yesterday. One of the surfers spotted an incredibly large shark and alerted the lifeguards, who immediately pulled all surfers from the water and called the coastguard.
After a short investigation, it was concluded that the shark, a Great White named Ghost, was going to be around for a while. Though not seen as a threat since Ghost has never attacked humans, the lifeguards have not opened the beach for surfers or swimmers.
At this moment, sunbathing is allowed, but surfing is only allowed with explicit clearance from the coastguard, who placed a tracker on Ghost to locate him at all times. The coastguard is ecstatic to have a tracker on the shark since Ghost is a very elusive animal and typically doesn’t show himself in crowded places.
Ghost is 24 feet long and thought to be around 30 years of age.”
