Fear is a universal experience - whether it's a fear of heights, death, or something seemingly insignificant. Most people encounter fear for the first time as children, and as they grow, their fears evolve alongside them. But not everyone follows this path.
Some grow up believing they're untouchable, tougher than the world around them. The absence of fear mutates into a dangerous indifference - a disregard for consequences. They seek thrills in rebellion: stealing for the rush, dismissing those they deem beneath them, blind to privilege and responsibility alike.
Yet these individuals aren't inherently evil. They may seem that way at first, but appearances deceive.
What they truly need is something to care about - something so precious it makes them fear the day they might lose it.

Something was wrong with the lab.
It wasn't the equipment, the structure or the meth. No, it was something more sinister than that.
Anyone who stepped foot in there, whether it have been Gale, or Walt, or Jesse, or Victor, would immediately notice the cold temperature. The feeling of being watched. The smell of blood.
When Walt voiced his concerns, it seemed nothing could be done about the strangeness of the lab. And so he moved on (after spending a ridiculously long time trying to solve the problem on his own.)
One day, when Jesse mentions his disdain for Gus, a rattle, a drumroll even, reverberates from a tank.
Or: Lalo and Howard exist in the lab as ghosts. Once they determine whose side Jesse and Walt are on, they make themselves known and the plot changes from there.
Note: first chapter is lalo's death (also we make some gay connections,) second & third will be Howard and Lalo pre-walt and Jesse, then the focus will be on Walt and Jesse!
