Summary
Annalise is a buttoned-up ex-Joja executive who moved to Pelican Town after being voted off the board. She's got time to kill until her new position in a rival company goes public. Maybe she'll try the farming thing for a year.
Sterling is a buttoned-down ex-mechanic who moved back to Sunberry village to get out of his head and the bottle. He's staying with family, working as a clerk, and is quick with a smile and a wink. New place, new slate - he reckons it won't take too long to get back on his feet.
But time moves differently in the valley, and we'll see the changes waiting for these two in the calendar pages.

Summary
Alex just needed a place to stay for a little while while he settled in Zuzu City for a job offer. Sam and Sebastian’s place seemed perfect—or at least convenient, when Haley asked Sam, considering they were down a roommate (and rent for the upcoming month). Sam can’t say no. Sebastian definitely can. What Sam didn’t expect was how complicated it would get, quickly beginning to blur the lines between acquaintances, roommates, friends with benefits and something Sebastian is scared to label. And then there's their roommate Lexi...
Introducing Alex to Zuzu's queer culture is either a positive or a negative, depending on who you ask. Old friends, new tensions, and chemistry that refuses to be ignored turn a simple favor into something far more messy and confusing. Good thing Alex makes some new friends to help him along the way.

Summary
Sterling Cooper moved back home from Zuzu City as a final chance to try to stay clean, keep his head down and not make waves in Pelican Town. He wasn't expecting to meet someone like Eli--a rooftop-climbing, cryptid-hunting, ridiculously charming cryptozoologist who decided to drag him into a mystery of magical creatures and midnight stakeouts.
But when a chance encounter under the stars turns into nights of stargazing, half-truths, and maybe-sightings of maybe-real creatures, Sterling finds himself pulled into Eli’s world.
He’s not sure what he believes in anymore and somehow, the quiet between them feels like the safest place on Earth.
A slow-burn romance about starlight, secrets, and learning to believe in things you thought you’d lost the ability to, including yourself.

Summary
Rey's struggles with postpartum depression after the birth of his and Sterling's child mistakenly go unnoticed by his partners who were doing their best to support him. Things go down south quickly and need an emergency intervention.
Postpartum depression/psychosis is a very real and serious condition that should be taken seriously and approached without the stigma it currently has towards parents suffering from it, especially when it ends up causing harm to newborns. I hope readers go into this with an open mind and understanding that those suffering from it are NOT bad people.

Summary
Sterling Cooper came back to Sunberry from Zuzu City to put himself back together—or at least stop making it worse. He’s just trying to keep his head down, get through each day, and maybe become someone he doesn’t hate. But then there’s Sage. The new farmer who took over her grandpa’s old farm before he moved back—the one with dirt on her boots, lavender hair cut to her shoulder, messy from the wind, and a different scarf around her neck every time he sees her. She’s short, sweet, and warm to everyone, like coffee on a cold morning.
And she wants to be his friend.
But Sterling knows what happens when people get close to him, and he’s not sure she deserves that kind of damage.

Summary
She turned her attention back to Sterling in time to catch his eyes snapping back up to her face. He had grown up to be really hot, and she noted with some satisfaction that the sentiment appeared to be mutual. Actually, all three of them were good looking, but with the piercings, chipped nail polish, and general air of casual recklessness, he was definitely her type. She never claimed to have good taste.
Cheeks slightly pink, he still managed to play it cool, leaning against the truck with his hands in his jeans pockets. “Yeah, fresh from Zuzu City. It'll give us something to bond over with a couple of beers. First one’s on me.”
He punctuated that offer with an actual wink. Oh, so he knew he was cute. Unfortunately, Stella liked that.

Summary
Faced with a dilapidated farm and a desire to move on, Phaedria Morrow was ready to keep her head down and live quietly. What she wasn’t ready for was to fail at the head down part of the plan on her first day in the valley when she caught the attention of Sterling Cooper.
But when the past is dark, vicious, and uncompromising, it rarely stays where you leave it.
And when it comes barrelling back into both of their lives, it threatens to destroy everything they have.Note: the burn is slow.

Summary
Shane screwed everything up for himself, for Sterling, and for Callie. He’d always known he didn’t deserve them. Now, he just needs to find a bit of courage to make his final choice.
Sterling hurt those most precious to him, just like he always had and always would. As his withdrawal symptoms twist both body and mind, he chooses to protect his loved ones.
Callie spent a lifetime sacrificing herself for the sake of others, trying desperately to be the person she needed. But when her attempts to help only make things worse, can she choose to let them go?
Choices: Winter is the final fic in my Choices series, interweaving characters, lore, and storylines from the original game and a multitude of mods including Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp. Expect a goodly amount of angst, but also expect comfort, camaraderie, fluff, adventure, humor, and yes, romance too.
This fic (and all of Choices) is now complete.

Summary
"Found the bass you asked for," said Callie.
Mateo's eyes brightened. "Thank you," they said, handing the delivery fee over. “Would you mind leaving it in there until we head down to the tent?”
“Not a problem,” she smiled. “I’ll admit, I was surprised at your request, considering where you’re staying.”
Their lips quirked with mischief. “I could fish myself, but how could I pass up the perfect bait for reeling you in?”
Yeah, Callie had no defense against that. She dissolved into giggles.
Mateo grinned.
Mostly, this fic is an excuse for bad puns. ^_^

Summary
“What I don’t get,” said Henry, “is if all of us know that the afterparty is going to be a shitshow after the Flower Dance, why do we still have one every year?”
Sterling laughed. “Fuck if I know."
The festival has ended, and a wide swath of young singles from the valley gather together for a bonfire at Marnie's Ranch. Throw in some alcohol and a game of Spin the Bottle, and someone's bound to get burned.
A snipped thread from my main series Choices. Takes place after "The Rite of Movement," but stands alone quite well. This one pulls characters from Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp.

“I swear by all that is good and holy that if you keep going, I will throttle you,” Callie threatened as they entered the yard to his house.
Laughing, Sterling replied, “Well, I’m not huge into breath play, but—”

Summary
Things for Sterling are going well—too well, perhaps. He has finally arrived at a place of hope and stability that he’s longed for most of his life. But that doesn’t mean past choices can’t come back to bite him in the ass.
Things for Callie are… well, they’ve certainly been better, but they’ve also been worse. Everything with Philip blew up in her face, and she’s still hurting. But that doesn’t mean her future choices can’t turn out for the better.
Things for Shane are pretty shitty. His best friend(s) have no time for him, he’s still mean and disgusting, and to make matters worse, his drinking nearly killed Jas. But that doesn’t mean his current choices have to stay on the same path.
Choices: Fall picks up directly after Choices: Summer and continues to interweave characters, lore, and storylines from the original game and a multitude of mods including Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp. While I do enjoy torturing my blorbos, there’s also a goodly amount of both fluff and humor to be found, plus an (un)healthy dose of pining and flirting.
The fic is complete.

Summary
Callie chose Philip, a sweet man with a heart of gold. She knew better than to waste her life on a dream that would never happen.
Sterling chose to let her go. He would never be a good man, but he’d do his damnedest to be a good friend.
Shane chose to ignore the rope she threw. He refused to let her pay the price her help would cost.
But the thing about choices is that sometimes, it’s one and done, and sometimes, it’s something you have to choose over and over and over. When you realize that somewhere along the way mistakes were made, do you make a different choice? Or do you double down?
Choices: Summer picks up directly after Choices: Spring and continues to interweave characters, lore, and storylines from the original game and a multitude of mods including Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp. There's romance, fluff, humor, world building, magical bullshit, and just the right amount of Torturing the Blorbos.
Fic is complete.

With the Flower Dance fast approaching, Ysabelle and Emily decide to host a class at the Log Cabin Hotel to help potential participants refresh their memories of the steps—or learn them for the first time. Some are eager to attend, and others get dragged there against their will. Summary
“Thanks again for coming over,” Emily said as they watched Callie toddle off.
“Aw, no need to thank me, Em,” Jeric reassured her. “I’m always glad to keep Callie company.”
“You and half a dozen other guys,” Emily joked.
Jeric shrugged. He’d be more surprised if no one else had any interest in their newest farmer—especially when that farmer was Callie. “What can I say? Whoever manages to court her will be very lucky,” he told Em.
“’Court her,’ huh?” she teased. “Is that what you’re doing?”
“Nah, we’re still in the getting-to-know-you phase.”
She eyed him with a knowing smirk. “But you want to.”
“There’s… potential.”
When the new farmer moves into the valley, Jeric is instantly attracted to her. He doesn't act on it though, not at first. He'd hate to shoot his shot too early and get knocked down. Unfortunately, he's not the only one interested in her. If he waits too long, he'll miss his chance entirely.
Another fic from my What Could Have Been series, this time from Phase 3. I'm posting all three chapters in one go, instead of spreading them out. Enjoy!

Summary
"You don't have to walk me home," Sterling insisted, letting go of me and trying to walk on his own. "I'm perfectly capable," he said. He nearly fell face first as he tripped over his own feet.
I managed to catch him, sliding a little on the wet cobblestone but keeping my feet. "Perfectly capable, huh?" I asked, amused.
Sterling's lips turned down, and I could see a spark of stubborn defiance appear in his eyes. Before he could act on it, I snaked my arm around his waist to hold him tightly, then grabbed his arm and hooked it back around my shoulders again. "Well, how about you let me walk with you for my own peace of mind," I said, giving him my prettiest smile. If he became belligerent, this walk would become ten times more difficult. I was not above using my feminine wiles if need be.
He studied me for a long moment, before eventually relaxing into my hold, putting more of his weight on my shoulder. "Well, if you insist," he said. Giving me a sly smile, he asked, "Are you sure that's all you want a piece of?"
I considered pushing him off the side of the bridge and into the river.
Another Phase 2 vignette for What Could Have Been.

Summary
[“I just had to grow the sunflowers. They remind me of you, really. Sunflowers… they’re hope. Always facing towards the light, always growing, always healing. They light up every room they’re in.” There were definitely tears welling up in the corners of Sterling’s eyes, but Basil continued, “Did you know they plant sunflowers near nuclear power plants? They suck up all the radiation, clean the environment up, make it habitable. Everything gets better when they’re around. I think that’s you, Sterling."]
Sterling's loved ones throw him a surprise party for his birthday.
