Summary
Conflict has arisen among two great kingdoms. To the north lies the House of Lecter, led by a man circulated by whispered rumors and frightened respect. Below him to the south, King Verger rose to power through nefarious means, though none would dare contest his rule for fear of his displeasure. If King Lecter was feared for his mystery, King Verger was feared for lack of it. All under his reign knew of his sadistic ways, and one man remained suffering under his tender affections for years.
Will Graham had been held captive by King Verger even before he'd stolen the crown, kept for the man's own sick amusement, tortured and alone. As a boy, he'd resolved to kill the man the second an opportunity arose; after so many years enduring King Verger, he wasn't sure if he'd last long enough to see his vow through.
As King Lecter grows bored of the upstart Pig King's antagonizing, Will's opportunity might arise before he loses himself entirely to the man's torment.

“Are you saying that’s me?” Will asks quietly. “That I flew too close?”
Hannibal wets his lips, then steps closer, and the quiet precision of it leaves Will breathless. He lifts a hand to Will’s shoulder, then another to his face, cradling him with such care that Will finds himself caught with nowhere to look but into Hannibal’s eyes, and nothing to hear but his voice. For a moment, the whole world narrows to the warmth of his hands and the weight of his gaze.
“I’m saying you climbed higher than most men dare, Will,” he says. “You looked into the minds of monsters. You walked their halls, saw their dreams, their appetites.”
Will closes his eyes, the feeling of hopelessness starting to wash over him again.
“And now you’re falling. And no one knows how to catch you.” There’s a pause, long enough and quiet enough for Will to hear his blood rushing in his ears. He feels desperately hot in Hannibal’s hands, but it feels so good to be held that he daren’t pull away. “Except perhaps me.”

Hannibal has always been self-assured. He knows that the rest of the world is often beneath and it is up to him to shape the people around him as he saw fit. After all, the world is full of ugly people and they fill the world with ugliness by living in it. So, Hannibal considers it as his job to elevate them from their stations through violence or through manipulation. If God can do it, why can't he? If God can commit so much cruelty and still be worshipped for it then, why can't he? And if God, had been kind as the people claim to be then, He would have stopped Hannibal. But God doesn't seem to be interested in playing saviour. If anything, He keeps rewarding his hedonistic lifestyle and has even provided him with a True Mate, Will to navigate life through. So why should he stop?
But what if, God had not been as silent as Hannibal believed him to be and had been evening Hannibal's score by inflicting pain on his most precious possession? What will Hannibal do when he comes face to face with the reality of his 'Becoming'? What if Hannibal is questioned through Mischa?Set in Season 2 but does not follow the timeline or the episode order.

After Will Graham's mother was murdered when he was a young boy. By a man known as Micheal Dolarhyde (the Tooth Fairy), he vows revenge and becomes the Angel of Death. A serial killer of other serial killers. Along the way he happens to become a single father, while he's only 17. It's a little exhausting trying to keep up with a genius child who learns new languages to avoid talking to him, and who's idea of a fun afternoon is going suit shopping and then practice baking decadent multilayered cakes, but Will wouldn't have it any other way. Meanwhile, Hannibal has a son who is while loveable a little.. well average. Steve Lecter loves fishing and his small group of friends, but he has no idea how to manage his father's expectations of him; after all, he's never gotten above a B in his life! Hannibal loves his small family composed of his sister and his son, but he can't help but feel like some crucial part of himself has yet to be formed yet.
A chance encounter in a Walmart fishing isle forever changes these two families lives, as they find: understanding, love, and yes, some murder as well.
