Sans shrugs.
“sure. i love stories. this one have a happy ending?”
It grimaces through that pinned-on smile. Its eyes are flat and dead.
“That remains to be seen,” it mutters. It shrugs its shoulders, squirms a little bit. Trying to get comfortable in skin that it doesn’t belong in.
“It’s a story about some kid who freed all the monsters,” it says. “They’re…they’re a…good…they’re…”

Summary
The law of the Underground is "kill or be killed", so it was easy for monsters to adjust to the systems of mobsters and mafia when they resurfaced. In the midst of the great depression, where only the fittest survive, they have easily climbed their way to the top of the food chain, where monster king Asgore Dreemurr rules the city.
Frisk; the daughter of a white woman and a black man, already struggles to survive in the cruel world, but when her half-sister Chara becomes the lover of the monster prince, Frisk finds a target painted on her back.
Enter the skeleton brothers; placed in charge of protecting her from such threats. But they may just end up placing her in more danger, as she struggles to protect their secrets, such as the affair between the older brother and Asgore's wife, or the mysterious circumstances surrounding their father. To add to things, Frisk is finding herself frustrated with her growing crush on the gruff but gentle Papyrus, who's determination to stay kind in the cruel world inspires her.
Through a mess of power struggles, war, violence, sex, and love, Frisk finds that she can't go back to her old life, but maybe she doesn't want to.
Rated M for gore and smut.

After a few Genocide runs, Frisk eventually begins to feel bad and decides to change her ways. When she resets, she eventually gets to talk to Sans about the situation, but soon finds out that making a deal with Chara Dreemurr at the end of the first Genocide wasn't such a great idea.

After freeing all the monsters from the underground, Frisk was able to reunite with the only family they had, their older sister. They both lived together with Toriel, and Frisk got to introduce all monster-kind to their sister. Few years past and everything is perfect. No resets, no genocide, no demons nothing. Frisk's Undertale adventure was over, but the ending of one story just means the start of another. Dezin, Frisk's beloved older sister, has the strangest dream, then wakes up to a reoccurring pain in her chest, three days after a horrible accident. A pain that eventually causes her to lose consciousness; when she wakes, however, she's not where was previously. In a new world, similar to her own, she quickly learns something isn't right. Dezin is determined to find a way home, back to Frisk, but such a task is never easy, especially if your soul may not even be your own.
