The pain started when Newton was eleven years old. There was no trigger or inciting incident that he could have blamed for it, nothing to point at and identify as the source. There had been no accident, no injury, nothing. He simply woke up one day with his left leg hurting. In retrospect, the pain was not the first symptom. It had merely marked the point of no return, the moment when Newton could no longer entirely ignore the problem.
Newton suffers from a chronic pain condition and uses a cane, just like Hermann.

So basically the titles says everything. This will be a 150 parts story where each chapter will have a theme. I'll probably write both Newt and Tina's point of view on each theme, I'll see.
I'm not used to write in first person, it'll be a nice challenge. I don't plan to post regularly, I might post several chapters one day and none for three days, but I'll do this challenge entirely.
For a little bit of context, I'll add dates for this. And Newt and Tina are already married, and they already have two children (Elisabeth and Felix).
