Something's wrong, so very wrong, it's almost clear as day what it was. Others hardly paid it any attention, which made him think maybe he might've been hallucinating everything, but nothing's ever for sure, right? That's what Lu Guang told him once during one of their dives anyway.
Maybe they can see it too, but choose not to. He can't tell if their indifference is because they don't notice it, or if it's because it's a normal everyday sight for them. It's neither in his case.
Who just grows a pair of cat ears like those cheap dollar store hat accesories like it's nothing anyway?! And why did it have to be Lu Guang of all people to have it coming at him?! That's not fair at all!! (He won't admit it's quite an endearing sight to have Lu Guang acting like that.)
