The moonlight shines down on him, he swears he can feel warmth coming from it.Uncle Iroh finds him there, it feels like an eternity later, bathed in moonlight, covered in tears and snot, clutching Sokka's ring in his hand, mumbling to himself between hiccuping cries.
Iroh crouches next to him, placing a gentle hand on Zuko's back, "I'm so sorry." He says, voice low and soft.
"Don't apologize to me, uncle, he's not d-d-dead. He cannot be dead, I would feel it i-if he was." Zuko cries.
