Summary
Christine’s world had sunk into silence the moment the circus collapsed, a quiet that consumed every corner of her life, filling the spaces where answers should be. Now, back to being a struggling young adult after months in the circus, the former jester tries to make peace with moving on, though part of her still craves the resolution she needs.
She doesn’t have to search for it, however, because it finds her in the human form of the boy she once encountered inside circus walls, and suddenly, the ghosts of her past are no longer memories—but a reality she can't, and maybe doesn't, want to escape.

He said what.
“C’mon pompom it’ll be fun I promise.” Slurring his words out towards the end of it, and clearly delirious.
“I don't know. I’m not much of a dancer.”
Turning over to look straight at her and reaching behind her seat, scared he was trying to drag her she started leaning away. “What are you doing?”

Having long given up on finding her friends from the circus, she was absolutely floored to have found Felix (Jax) in the most unexpected of places. Christine constructs a plan for them to reunite.

Pomni's only friend in this scary world, Ragatha, loves her more than Pomni could possibly imagine, completely unaware of Pomni's guilt-filled lust for a wild beast, known as the Jaxalope.

When they are arguing, instead of lunging at Jax, Pomni looses it and tries to end it. She didn’t think reaching a game over with the intention of it being permanent would lead to anything.
Expect it does.
Jax learns pretending not to care doesn’t mean it’s true, and that the circus doesn’t function as he’d convinced himself it does.

Caine lately has been focusing a lot on Teamwork, trying to get all the circus members to work together. This didn’t really seem to work, so he decided to make a trust excersice as an adventure! Two members each would get locked into a room together with a gun. In this room, they have to trust each other and talk! The only goal is that no one gets shot! Easy, right?

Summary
A chain of unexpected events strands Pomni and Gummigoo. With no sign of immediate rescue, the two new friends set out to find the circus themselves, briefly stopping in Gummigoo’s supposedly non-existent village. The stay ends up longer than anticipated.
It's just one part of a world crammed full of bank heists, saloon brawls, marshmallow six-shooters and dodgy mine hideouts, toffee trains, candied ocean liners and the occasional vicious gumdropbear, all dripping with literal sugarcoating that keeps the family-unfriendly implications around a PG rating. Most of the time.
Pomni is tempted by the freedom to redefine herself and escape Caine’s presumed railroaded adventures. For Gummigoo, the map is painfully familiar yet absolutely alien, raising questions that he and Pomni might not be able to really answer. As time passes, the friends find the map, themselves, and their relationship changing for better and possibly worse.
Unable to summon Pomni back, Caine insists to the rest of the Circus that long-term entrapment in an adventure won’t cause lasting harm to either program or its participants. It’s soon apparent that even the A.I. ringmaster cannot anticipate the consequences hurtling towards them.

Summary
Pomni enters the world of The Amazing Digital Circus, thinking it's just a game. Realizing she's trapped, she tells herself it's just a dream. Jax tells himself he doesn't care. Caine tells himself it's only data he's collecting. However, the circus is full of lies, and sooner or later, someone will have to break.
This is my first fic. I don't know where this is all going yet, but it gets messy. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts! Also, the Rape/Non-con elements tag is just to be safe. There are power imbalances and manipulation in this story. I have not planned the whole story; I plan one chapter at a time as I'm writing it.
Side Note: The story begins in third person but will eventually transition to 1st person. There will also be some character redesigns later on. For now, it's Barbie and Ken down there until I'm ready to bring in the eventual smut. I promise we're getting there!
Notice: I'll be taking a short break. I have a lot going on. I shouldn't be away longer than a week or two.
