As Wu helps Mako fit in to Ursa's world, and Mako helps Wu with his complicated engagement, they each find themselves yearning for another life where they can be something more than friends to one another. They both have to decide whether to continue on with their duties, or risk it all and be honest with themselves—and each other.

Almost ten years since the death of Avatar Korra Sato, a single mother named Miu has brought her daughter, Fan, to Republic City after the child realizes who she really is. There in the city, they meet new people as well as those Korra knew during her lifetime, including her wife and daughter, with the new Avatar ready to train and become who she destined to be.
But when Fan ends up the latest victim in a recent spread of kidnappings, those responsible end up bringing back the monster that Miu had tried to lock away years before. Someone capable of great violence and suffering, one who will stop at nothing to find out who took her daughter and ensure her safety, ready to hunt down and kill those responsible. All as Fan herself finds out about Miu's own painful connection to her past life.
A repost of a previous post-LOK Alt-Universe fic "Extreme Measures", it'll make sense down the line. Think of this of a revenge action flick with crazy fights and violence... but also some funny and sweet moments as well... again, you'll see down the line.
