Like a stiff wind would knock her over. she’s been going through a lot, and this potion is no help. I know you don’t really like to talk about those years-“ draco immediately stiffened. “-but, i was able to gather you might’ve done some furthering of your potions education. I think with the two of you together, nothing would stop you; and, need i remind you, we are dying.”
The War has done no good for anyone, as it so often does. Even 7 years later, Draco and Hermione are struggling: with their lives, with their friends, with their purposes.
After discovering their dark marks gave the young death eaters more than they bargained for, It is up to Draco to figure out how to break the curse that is destined to drain their magical life force bit by bit until they die. One of his friends actively requests potions from him. Like a small business.. but less legal and more of a people pleaser thing. They even asked him to make a love potion. He even made an antidote in case someone needed to reverse it. Draco was always thinking ahead. He always had this smug smile on his face, since that antidote takes weeks to actually prepare. But clearly, he didn't think ahead enough.
Because when he tested if it worked, fell in love with the one and only Harry Potter, via newspaper if I may add, shattered the antidote all over his floor, and realized he ran out of the right materials...
