As Alex ran through the door, he was suddenly bombarded with a musky earthy scent. And also a hint of Earl Grey? He breathed in deeply and sighed at the pleasant smell. Then he recognized that musk as Henry’s horrible expensive cologne.
“Jesus christ, why does it reek of Henry’s cologne in here.” He said as he sat down next to his sister and best friend Nora.
June froze and dropped the quill she was holding. Nora clapped her hand over her mouth and let out a little giggle.
“Alex, do you happen to know what potion we're making today?” June asked.
Nora interjected “Oh my fucking god Alex- it’s Amortentia. We’re brewing Amortentia and you just admitted that it smells like Henry’s cologne to you.” She said a bit exasperated, finishing with a little wink at Alex.
