“Stupid fuckin’ Delanceys.” Jack says quietly through gritted teeth. It’s sort of meant as an aside, not for Davey’s ears. Unfortunately for Jack, Davey somehow has superhuman hearing.
“The Delanceys?” Davey turns around to face him, his hands still rummaging through a drawer. “What happened with them?"
“Tried to put my fist through Oscar’s teeth.” He mutters, earning a sigh from Davey. “Don’t sigh like that, he fuckin’ deserved it.”
