Objectively, Oscar knew that he was welcome in the designated Pack Room. Even if Mark hadn’t walked him through the dynamics of the Paddock Pack himself before sending Oscar off to pre-season testing, it had been in the official debrief that the McLaren Team had given him, as well as the less-than-official debrief Lando had subjected him to shortly thereafter.
Because the Paddock Pack was always open to any driver – past or present – should they choose to join.
But, on a very personal level, Oscar was afraid. Afraid that the other drivers still harboured some secret, vile resentment towards him for how he’d entered the sport. Terrified that they wouldn’t welcome him, when he was responsible for pushing such a beloved driver out. Frightened of rejection, when he was so desperately craving connection.

Something was up.
Seb had known for at least a few weeks. If nothing was up, he wouldn’t be losing minutes of time mid-interview. He wouldn’t be losing the flow of pretty much every conversation he had had, he wouldn’t be coming back to awareness on the floor of his driver’s room, and he certainly wouldn’t be nearly crashing the car at least once a race after suddenly being at the end of a straight rather than the beginning.
But if something were up, someone else should have noticed by now. If something was up, people would be telling him why he was losing minutes of interviews, seconds of conversations, and hundreds of metres of each track.
Yet, nobody had said anything, so nothing must be up.

Oscar is not having a good time.
It was already hard enough being Spider-Man in high school, but freshman year of college is a whole new beast entirely. Maybe if his new (accidentally acquisitioned) friends stopped trying to get him to have a social life, on top of classes and bio labs and his totally real internship at Webber Labs, and a new street-level villain that's determined to find out Spider-Man's secret identity, things wouldn't be so bad.
Oh, and, having a crush as a superhero? A lot harder than it sounds. Which is why Oscar is totally, 100%, not into Lando, no matter what Logan says.
If Oscar doesn't drop out before the fall semester is over, it'll be a real-life miracle.
