Penelope Bunce, my best friend and roommate, has been oddly obsessed with some angsty band - ‘the Bleeders’ - almost immediately after we graduated from Watford. I honestly can’t stand it. She did try to get me into it, but eventually gave up. All it is, in my opinion, is a bunch of loud, violent instruments with lyrics that make no bloody sense. The lead vocalist has an unsettlingly familiar voice, too, and it makes me feel sick. Perhaps I overheard his voice from a radio in one of the orphanages - I don’t know.
