Summary
After a mishap during a mission, Drake, Gosalyn, and Launchpad must continue without Darkwing Duck.
Many years later, a single father named Harold Webber works for a seemingly simple (and boring) company as a desk jockey. But upon discovering that the company's work is connected to F.O.W.L., Harold is hunted down by those who wish to keep the secret from getting out, which results in the death of his son. With his life in jeopardy, Harold is rescued by an older Quiverwing Quack, resulting in the reunion of the original crime-fighting trio. To honor his son, and to ensure that F.O.W.L. never destroys another family, Harold dons the garments of the original cocky crusader, determined to bring the light of hope back to St. Canard.

F.O.W.L has been defeated, and everyone is starting a new chapter of their lives.
Despite having played a large role in a massive victory, Donald Duck feels inferior and inadequate. He still can't get a job, he still sees himself as a massive loser, and he sees how his boys have starry eyes for Duckburg's heroes. His kids are teenagers now, growing up too fast, and Donald is starting to worry that he's completely losing touch with them. That is, until he gets an idea...
The appearance of a new superhero in Duckburg causes a major stir. When Zan Owlson's opponent uses this new hero to promote his own campaign and his proposed legislation to outlaw superheroes, Gizmoduck and Darkwing Duck--along with their friends--are on the hunt for this new so-called hero, and putting an end to his crime-fighting career in order to save their own.
But who is the Duck Avenger? Where did he come from? And does he have what it takes to be a hero?
