Summary
Raya and Namaari are Indonesian Silat students from rival dojos who compete at the Kumandra Silat Tournament every year to continue the martial art tradition in America. Namaari has won the tournament for the last six years, but Raya, with her dojo at risk of closing down without a victory, must stand at the top of the podium this year.
[Basically just a long one shot of Raya and Namaari learning to trust each other in three days. In a hotel. In New Orleans.]

The former soldier started to pace the length of her bedroom and kept coming to the same conclusion...she needed outside help. She strode to her front door and pulled it open, sticking her head out to see if anyone was in the hallway.
She had lived in her apartment for a few years but hadn’t really taken the time to meet any of her neighbors. Her mother hadn’t been the neighborly type and that trait had been passed down to her as well. She usually scowled at anyone passing her on the stairs or in the halls but she knows, somewhere on this floor, there is a very pretty woman who always smiles and waves to her every time they pass each other in the hall. In fact, over time, the woman had basically trained Namaari to politely nod to her on sight everyday.
Namaari’s feet seemed to move of their own accord and she stopped in front of the door she felt 97.35% sure was the other woman’s and knocked.

Summary
There was a period of time where the two of them were inseperable, brought together by their love of dance. But that was the past and things had not ended well between them. Now years later, brought together by the relationship of their best friends, Namaari and Raya find themselves entering each others lives once again. The more they find their paths crossing, the more they must learn to navigate their interaction, dancing around one another both figuritevly and literally as Sisu asks them to help her with a project.

Summary
Nearly every time Raya and Namaari try to find a moment alone, someone interrupts them. Being in a relationship with a princess isn’t always the easiest, with people constantly needing the both of them for something or other. It can be frustrating at times, embarrassing at others, and occasionally even funny, but their desire to have just five minutes along together stands strong through it all. The longer they are together, the more they believe that privacy may never be possible, and they learn to simply accept that.
(Or, 5 times during Raya and Namaari’s relationship they are interrupted while having a private moment together, and 1 time they are not)

“Oh that’s fine. Run back to your new little girlfriend,” Atitaya said, waving Namaari off as she slipped herself off of her own log onto the floor, leaning in closer to the fire to warm herself.
“The one you refuse to introduce us to,” Freya chimed in.
“And won’t shut up about,” Thalia added.
Namaari had tensed at the mention of her girlfriend. She didn’t need to look at Raya to know that her posture had changed as her ears perked up, leaning in towards the fire at the other girls’ words. “Namaari has a girlfriend?” She heard Raya ask, fighting the urge to groan at the absolute delight in Raya’s tone. She looked towards her and found her with her head tilted, eyes twinkling in the light of the fire. Namaari cursed her girlfriend, taking in how adorable she looked and knowing that look meant trouble for her.
OR
Namaari and Raya have agreed to keep their new relationship a secret. But while hanging out with Namaari's friends, Raya learns her significant other has been telling her friends about her.

Summary
The Fëanárians have been largely successful at avoiding human interaction in Beleriand, but when the Moriquendi and the Kumandrans - who fled to Beleriand after the Druun destroyed their homeland - demand a council to coordinate battle plans, they have no choice but to face the second-born Children of Eru that Morgoth claimed would cause their downfall. Naturally, angst and cultural confusion ensue, and everyone and their dog has an emotional breakdown as they attempt to find their way in a world fraught with peril, grief, and doom.
[AU where the Dragons are Valar (who refused to abandon Middle Earth to Morgoth), the Kumandrans are the Atani (who came into being a few hundred years before the rising of the Sun), and the breaking of the Dragon Gem happens five hundred years before Raya and Namaari are born.]
