Summary
A number of players, of friends, are taken from their home and thrown into a twisted death game. When they return to their home servers weeks later, it’s without any memory of what had gone on.
With one exception.
The winner remembers everything. Every fallen friend. Every broken promise. Every single death caused by their hand.
And not just their game. Every following life game created not only another winner, but even more horrible memories for those who had already been cursed with the crown.
And yet those winners never came together to share their burden. And so they suffered alone.
Until four became five. And suddenly they didn’t have to anymore.

Jimmy stepped closer, to see what was it that had caused the crater, what was capturing Pearl’s attention.
When he stepped next to her, he spotted a big black something, possibly charred from its tumble through the atmosphere. It had a spiky texture, something that looked like feathers, if it wasn’t for the fact that they wouldn’t have survived the friction of such a long fall. Not to speak of the immense velocity and altitude a hypothetical feathered creature would have to reach to burn up and cause such an impact. Besides, no creature would have shattered upon impact like this thing did, with lavender light seeping through the cracks.
OR:
When Jimmy and Pearl are out in the forest, they find Grian who fell from the sky and forgot who he is. Grian watches. That’s what he’s supposed to do. And the only times he allows himself to be seen is when he runs around at night with Hotguy.

Perhaps it was his upbringing among the staff of the Thornvale Manor, or perhaps it was his somewhat asocial personality, but Abolish had always been far more of a listener and observer than a speaker. He picked up on things no one else did. By his early teenage years, he had learnt Morcant’s tells in poker, and was nicknamed a ‘bloodhound’ for his ability to tell a good new hire from a poor one.

Abolish notices many things, but he hesitates to jump to conclusions. He prepares for the worst possible scenarios, but tries not to overthink the tension falling over Oakhurst.
Perhaps he should have seen this coming. As it is, he can only make the best of the situation he is forced into.

Grian opened his eyes and scanned them across the desolate plane that is the end. His eyes flashed up and he saw the ender dragon circling across all of the black obsidian pillars. He studied the end on both of his sides. Nothing. He looked behind him. Nobody. Where is everyone? He was alone. Alone in the end. He glanced around once more. Still no sign of anybody. Was he sure everyone jumped in? Yes. He swore he saw their feet touch the end portal at the same time as his. Was there a glitch? He sure hoped it wasn’t. Grian thought, for a moment, that there was a figure to the right of him. He quickly turned and found… Nothing. He was alone, and the only way to get back to the others was by killing the ender dragon. He sighed. I guess I'm killing it all by myself. He thought. This better be some kind of joke.
OR
Grian is kidnapped by the Watchers, and Pearl wants to get him back.
