After seeing each other in passing one fateful night Ash and Rayquaza both start developing feelings for the other, especially when Ash comforts Rayquaza on something that's been nagging at him for a while. However, dark storm clouds that Rayquaza can't clear on his own start gathering on the horizon, that storm is Team Ether on their quest to capture Rayquaza and use his Air-Lock ability to cement the world in its current "perfect" balance.
Why am I shipping Ash with my third favorite legendary? Because my #2 fav, Zekrom is taken (Reshiram), and my #1 fav, Yveltal already HAS ONE fic that ships them with Ash, Rayquaza has none, SO ITS AN UNTAPPED MARKET BABY LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Since I was young, I knew that my life had been planned for me from the very beginning. I was the heir to Belrose Industries, the largest pokeball and trainer item manufacturer on the continent. My parents would likely arrange a marriage for me, and I'd be expected to simply keep the family business going before passing it on to whatever children I had.
Unfortunately, since I was young I had also known I was a she, rather than a he. That tossed a bit of a wrench into everything.
With some help I left those expectations behind, with one catch: by law I had to go on a Pokémon journey. Oh well, me and my little knight can just focus on filling out the Unova region's pokedex- Whats that? Crazy terrorists hellbent on taking peoples Pokémon away? Some weird white stone and some ghost claiming to be a hero? A cute green-haired terrorist with an egg practically made of titanium?... Are we sure it's not too late for me to just stay in Nuvema Town?
This story is based on the plot of Pokémon Black and White, and will eventually be covering the plot of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

Two years later, the Pokemon rights organisation-turned-terrorist group Team Plasma took over the Unova Region, led by N's father. Pokemon and people were separated, and the land became a bleak cage of black and white. What's more, the Hero of Truth had gone missing.
But all is not lost. In times of injustice, heroes will rise. A disgraced Hero of Ideals, the former Champion, two trainers who once thought they held the world in their hands, and a Hero of Truth drowning in ashes, among many others. Anyone can be a hero. This is an unholy crossover between all our fandoms as children, written slowly over many years. I don't know how to describe the premise for this, but basically the main characters are Gollum, Smaug, Sauron, and Bill Cipher, and revolves around the adventures of Gollum on his magic train (aka the Misty Mountains, which he turned into a train, hence the title—Misty Mountains Express).
