Seven royal siblings, each with their own special magic, and all with a deep love of their family expressed in their own varying manner.

Hob Gadling - Robbie Grayson currently- had a meeting that was missed. Truth be told, he wasn't going to accept that his friend/not-friend would miss the meeting because of a petty belief that he didn't need friends, so he was going to track him down and tell him how much of an idiot he was.
Just so happened, Hob was now in the business of finding and selling mystical artefacts which led him to the doors of the Burgess Manor because of a rumour of something powerful in their basement.

Even after finding out who Dream is, the Lord Magus does not give up and instead demands that the Dream Lord, Shaper of Forms, become Randall Burgess. One of Fawney Rig's many parties is held in honour of Randall and his miraculous recovery. In comes Robert Gale, fellow soldier and survivor of the Gallipoli campaign — and who saw Randall Burgess die in Gallipoli all those months ago.

Dream is missing a piece of his soul; he doesn't know he's missing it: doesn't know he's a Selkie, separated from his skin as a baby. He is depressed and feels like he's full of broken pieces, and his sister coaxes him into interacting with Hob Gadling, a swimmer aspiring to swim the English Channel. It won't fix everything. But it could be the start of something new.
Through a series of travails, including attempts to take his own life, he discovers the truth. Finding his missing Selkie skin won't fix everything, but it will help...

While he's sleeping he has an incredibly vivid dream where he finds himself down in the basement with their captive; {…} Even though the intact binding circle prevents there from being any strength in it, the creature snarls and ineffectually tries to shove away Alex's groping hands, scratching his nails down his arm as he does. Over a decade into his capture, Dream’s thoughts torture him as he longs for freedom from the cruel prison he has been trapped in. The death of Roderick Burgess brings unexpected promise and danger, however, as Hob Gadling is summoned to the funeral and finds himself catching the attention of a mysterious figure in dark glasses, unaware of his friend's captivity or the danger the nightmare poses. But when a chance conversation overheard in a nearby tavern leads Hob to fear the worst, the Corinthian makes him a suspicious offer regarding the being below Fawney Rig, dragging him into a deadly plot that means to break Dream’s spirit and accomplish what Burgess could not. Naturally, things do not go to plan, and the healing in the aftermath is not something they can accomplish alone.

(ON HIATUS: When I started writing this I started having heart issues and then my insurance was suddenly canceled before I could find out what was wrong with my heart. When I looked into my insurance problem it was because they sent the paperwork to renew my insurance to my old address, but somehow knew I was at my current one to say "sorry you're uninsured" and I've been fighting to get my insurance back for like a year.
I can't focus well enough to write this fic properly. I do plan to return to this project. I just can't right now, I won't be able to give you a proper story. We know this story is messy enough as is.

Regardless if Max was going to turn on him or not, Adam knew what he wanted from the beginning. But grief didn't listen to reason, and it had been living in the corners of his chest and waited for the worst possible moment to clump up in his throat.
Because no matter how many times he told himself over and over that it wasn't his fault, something about the way Adam looked right now made Max feel sick to his stomach. Had he somehow protected Adam the night he broke his ankle, there's a chance he may not have ended up in this position, sick, frail, desperately clinging onto the past while the world passed him by. Now, it just felt totally unfair to sit and pick on him when karma had already done the job for him.
Max swallowed the guilt down. Not his burden to carry anymore."
