Pitou doesn't pick up Pouf's phone call, which prevents him from telling her about Komugi. Then, he decides to call her yet again. This time, she does answer and immediately rushes back to the palace. What happens next is a shock to everyone.
What will happen? One missed phone call may change the entire fate of the timeline.
This is canonically the first story in my "Chimera Ants Fun!" series, the same as the beloved 13 Bean Madness fic! Follow the epic misadventures of Meruem and his Royal Guards as they face their new, ordinary lives in their new mansion!

A piece I wrote for the 2024 HxH Big Bang!
“I’ve come up with something for my end of the wager,” said the Gungi Champion, smiling at the King. “If I win, how about I take you on a date? It will be my treat.”
Komugi explains there is a fancy bar and restaurant in downtown East Gorteau. She has never been, but she knows there will be live jazz and candlelit dinner. Perhaps the King might know something or two about music and table manners, and nothing about dates. Perhaps Komugi could learn to like the taste of wine, and ignore how she feels so out of place. Perhaps the Royal Guard might follow His Majesty and survey the scene in lavish disguise. Perhaps hijinks ensue.
Komugi won the game, and the King had no choice but to uphold his end of the bargain. Perhaps he had hoped he would lose. -

Summary
Pouf laid on the ground slowly succumbing to death from the poison of the Poor Man's Rose. He laid there wondering why his King abandoned him and where everything went wrong. Darkness claims him only for him to open his eyes again in a weakened state and in an unfamiliar world. A small and frail human child decides to care for him. Will Pouf's attitude towards humans change now that he is on the receiving end of mercy and friendship or will be turn on her as soon as he can because he is a Chimera Ant and it's in his nature?

When Pouf is tasked with the important task of playing his violin at Meruem and Komugi's wedding, his love and loyalty for his boss is overrun by his disdain for the new Queen of the Chimera Ants.
This leads to some pretty crazy drama, which in turn, causes some pretty crazy scenarios.
After Pouf causes chaos at the wedding, it's safe to say that everyone is disappointed in him, more or less.

A semi-follow up to the popular "13 Bean Madness" fic where Pitou convinced Pouf that Meruem wanted him to sort an entire bag of dried mixed beans because the chefs 'accidentally mixed them up.'
Pouf still doesn't know, but he wants to kidnap Komugi. In order for him to do that, he needs to create a diversion for Pitou so that she can't interfere with the kidnapping.

A semi-follow-up to the amazing "13-bean chaos" fic, where Pitou had Pouf sort over 22,000 dried beans to keep him distracted while Meruem asked out Komugi, is "Distraction in the Palace!"
For the longest time, Pouf has wanted to kidnap Komugi. He always loathed the girl and thought that getting rid of her would benefit Meruem.
His only issue is that he knows damn well that Pitou has made it mer secondary goal to protect the blind girl, and therefore, the only way to get Komugi out of the picture is for him to first remove his fellow Royal Guard from it as well.
All it takes is a little scheming with Youpi, a slight dig into their panhandling income (and a few weeks of preparation), and it's break time for an unsuspecting Pitou.Series

The beast was half insect and half human, its iridescent limbs seemed even more precious than ivory. His skin seemed human at first glance, but if you leaned in a little, it looked like the skin of a beetle or a rare coleopteran. What was striking were his deep magenta eyes, as if fuschia flowers had bloomed in his pupils. A piercing gaze, which looked towards the future. The look of a leader, not a fraudulent one. This misshapen figure next to the Queen was almost grotesque but it had to be said that they looked good together. A colorful demon coddling a moth. A Mint leaf beetle protecting his White ermine.
