Summary
Ferelden survived the Blight after the Grey Wardens united the lands to face against the darkspawn and the Archdemon, but after six months, the darkspawn are stirring again, and in strange ways. The Grey Wardens of Ferelden are forced to abandon their reconstruction efforts and reunite again to stop this new threat, and work to properly rebuild their Order in Ferelden.
But not only do they have to deal with the darkspawn (even worse, talking darkspawn), they also have to deal with their own problems that have grown during and after the Blight.

Summary
The First Warden hasn't had a reason to visit the arling of Amaranthine since the Hero of Ferelden, Zukal Tabris, became its Arlessa five years ago.
