Summary
If Gotham was a film it would be directed by Takashi Miike. Why? Because you don't know if you'll get something wholesome or grotesque, near cartoonish violence. It could also be a David Lynch movie, because nobody really knows what the hell is going on there until it's over. Or maybe a Nolan film, where you'll just tell yourself that you know what's going on.
Either way, Gotham is weird. Her heroes are weird too. Nobody who lives there understands Gotham and outsiders can't even begin to comprehend her. So just... hold on and enjoy the ride. Hope you don't fall off!
