Enid has been innocuously restored to her human state. Nevermore, however, remains fractured and lies in ruins, Hyde wreckage still staining its towers, Iago among them.
To scrape together funds for the reconstruction of Iago and other vital structures, the Academy succumbs to the indignity of hosting a pompous ball: a grotesque blend of dancing, velvet, and pity donations, also known among normies as “grand fundraising.” The Addams family is naturally among the chief patrons, sponsoring the ordeal.
As part of the spectacle, both Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair are ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶e̶l̶l̶e̶d̶... conscripted by their families to perform using their respective talents as cellist and ballet dancer. What begins as obligation sharpens into revelation.

Summary
While searching for Enid Sinclair, Wednesday Addams tries to regain the full potential of her abilities and uncover the truth about her missing Aunt Ophelia. Her aunt's disappearance reveals a dark family secret that could pose a new threat to Nevermore Academy and Outcasts kind in general.
Wednesday learns the only way to find Enid alive is with the help of a Hyde. After connecting with a rehabilitation Hyde community, Wednesday crosses paths with Isadora Capri, where she learns that Tyler Galpin had been living with her to rehabilitate himself. Tyler is forced to help Wednesday on her quest to find Enid, despite both their claims of hatred of one another. Their hatred for one another may just be a cover-up for something else the two black hearted souls feel.

For once, she didn't know where to start. She wanted to kiss him. She wanted to peel his flesh from his bones and force him to apologize for having murdered her. She wanted, inexplicably, to bury herself into his chest and permit him to wrap her in his embrace. She wanted to wrap a chain around his pretty throat and force him to heel.
Most of all, she wanted to right the wrongs between them, and that had been done to them. The world was about to learn that, far from tempering her dark heart and sadistic soul, falling in love had made Wednesday Addams more dangerous than ever.

After a school field trip which can only be described as a shambles causes Principal Weems to lose her perfectly curated poise and elegance in public, Wednesday thinks of another way to annoy her 'insufferable' Principal.
It took 10 minutes to convince Enid to upgrade her school blog to an online school newspaper, "Enid, this is the perfect way to start your career in journalism." And, another three hours to establish the rules:
1. Enid cannot write in her 'true voice'. All articles will contain proper grammar and emojis are prohibited
2. Articles will only be published if eye witnesses are willing to go on record i.e., interviews and quotes. Even if some of them are not aware they are doing it.
3. Olivia Weems will feature on the front page of every publication. -

“I was dead,” Peter said, and Johnny took a sharp breath. “In this other universe, Kingpin killed me.” He waved a hand. “Couple years back, I was still in grad school.” His mouth twisted. “Also I was blond.”
“I must've inspired you,” Johnny joked, pushing it past the weird film clinging to his throat. Something occurred to him. “Wait, was I there?”
Peter nodded, his eyes still on the sky. “Yeah,” he said, and then looked sideways at Johnny. “I mean, I never saw you, but Miles had a pic of the Spider-Mobile, and there's no way I built a car that hideous with anyone else.”
Johnny felt himself smile at him, but his mind was whirling with weird, displaced anger. I was there, he wanted to say, and you were still dead? I was there and I didn't stop it?
