Summary
In June of 1995, the Sampoong Department Store of Seoul, South Korea, had been in business for 5 years, taking in 40,000 customers a day and selling pretty much every luxury good you could possibly buy. Slightly over 30 years ago, 29th June 1995 at 5:52pm, the Sampoong Department Store suffered a catastrophic structural failure that saw five stories collapse one on top of the other right down to ground level in less than 30 seconds. 1,500 people were trapped in the wreckage and of them, 502 would be pulled out dead and 937 would suffer horrible injuries. The follow-up investigation would reveal staggering violations of building code regulations, safety protocols and plain old common sense out of little more than greed, negligence and opportunism and mark a catastrophe that still haunts South Korea to this day.
This story is intended as a tribute to those who died, suffered and laboured in the rubble of Sampoong.

Narrowing his eyebrows, drinking his wine with his successor beside him, he wondered what had happened for the teenage boy to end up in District 12 unlike the Capitol where he placed him. Did Sirius Black move him? How did he get to District 12 unnoticed? Was he going to win the 74th Annual Hunger Games?
Either way, he was going to have to control things before they got out of hand, in any way possible.
