“Is everything alright? I saw you run off earlier.” Time asked, though there was no reply, as though Twilight didn’t even register the other man’s existence.
“Are you hurt?” Time pressed on, hoping that the invitation of a conversation may help with Twilight’s sudden silence.
Yet, there was nothing.Time fixed his jaw in frustration, stifling its predominance. He knew that Twilight was hurting in some way. Twilight was always extremely well spoken, receiving multitudes of praise and compliments for his outstandingly considerate usage of words and his constant politeness. Never was there silence.
OR
Time accidentally does something that upsets Twilight greatly, he doesn't realize his mistake until much after. He also doesn't realize that the damage was already done.

Summary
A trip through Wild's Hyrule comes to an end just as anyone would expect; only this time, Wild isn't called to pass through the portal. In the face of a mysterious second adventure, he must stand aside while his brothers depart without him. Likewise, the chain is forced to leave Wild behind with no idea when they may see him again. They're left to wonder if this marks the end of an unsuccessful journey or if something is happening to their brother while they're separated.
Basically, I saw all the angsty "Wild has to leave" fics and said "Hold my beer."
Also, teen and up is the rating simply because the themes might get pretty heavy and there are a few curse words. Beyond that, it should be safe.Edit: I'm eating my words. Please read the tags.

Though in reality, Twilight was trying to save himself with compliance, even if it didn’t entirely put the net under him, he could at least keep Time from slapping him here and now.

“Can’t dance?” Din did not walk but rather twirled around the crowd to Legend’s side, grabbing his hand with her own, and even her eyes seemed to dance, with a mirth like they were sharing an inside joke Twilight couldn’t understand. “You know there’s no such thing. Speaking is a dance in itself, if you have the time to perfect it.”
“Would it kill you to wait?” Legend asked wryly.
“Absolutely!” Din replied, and then she pulled his arm and spun him into the fray of dancers, faster than Twilight could blink.
