It was when her life ended that it truly began, even if it took her a long time to realize it. Who would have thought that the afterlife was actually reincarnating inside one of her favorite games, as a nobody, at least that was what she thought until the fateful day when a man was thrown against her house by a monster and somehow now she is connected to nine heroes who don't seem to have any sense of the absurd. And, somehow, they were the ones responsible for making her know the true meaning of living, in her own unconventional isekai.

Link had experienced many strange things during the War Across the Ages. This portal-based travel thing wasn't exactly new to him. Neither was meeting more Links, heroes sharing the same spirit across eras.
Doing it while being a horse, however... Now THAT was new.
AKA Warriors gets cursed to be a horse right before dropping through a portal into another era.

Time had to hand it to them. These would-be assassins had come prepared. But if they wanted to kill Princess Zelda, they would have to get through eight battle-proven heroes who specialized in saving princesses and countries. Time adjusted his grip on his blade, sizing up his next opponent. No. Princess Zelda would not be dying today. He would make sure of it.
Or: The Chain portals right into the middle of an assassination plot against Princess Zelda. Even though this Zelda belongs to a Link they haven't met yet, the Chain will stop at nothing to protect her.

Summary
After waking up, Link learns a lot from the monsters on the plateau. Way more than he learned from Rhoam. When he finally leaves, the Hylians are scared of him; his scars, the way he moves, how he speaks in grunts and growls instead of words. Impa helps him learn enough Hylian to get by. He doesn’t dislike hylians… at first. As he remembers the abuse from his time as a knight, his opinion sours. He still frees the divine beasts, reclaims his sword, helps people, but every interaction with Hylians feels forced. It’s not comfortable, unlike his interactions with the monsters. Sure, he kills a lot of malice-mad monsters, but he spends as much time as possible hanging out in the sane monster camps.
Link defeats Ganon, frees Zelda, and escorts her to Kakariko... but then he leaves. The Sheikah can protect her. He’s not the Hylian Champion anymore, he’s the Mythos Champion: the Hero of Monsters.
