"Out." Ken gestures again, sharply enough that Wifies cringes that half-step back. They have one hand braced on the quartz wall, their ears pinned back and tail swishing, and despite the tense bloodless pallor of their face Wifies can tell they mean business.
"You look hurt," Jumper finishes his sentence for him. "Like, seriously, does anybody have a potion?"

Ashswag didn’t know what to make of Branzy.
Squiddo adored him, perhaps because of how easily he could veer between hanging on her every word and countering her elaborate schemes with his own proposals. Reddoons didn’t display anything more than disdain, although one that lingered too long in his gaze. Ferre seemed entirely indifferent, but Ash had noticed him making Branzy a little more comfortable here than a newcomer would normally be.
Clown, of course, had said nothing. It was a thrill Ash was still holding onto, one he’d thought he’d burnt out already, of watching someone indescribably powerful hold themselves back in his presence.
