"I'm hallucinating now," Damian muttered to himself, as the boy stared at him, uncertainly, "Mhm, pretty sure I'm not a hallucination."
"That's what a hallucination would say, Richard," he said, knowing he sounded petulant. Whatever the Galra had given him to keep him quiet, it was stronger than many of the drugs he had become accustomed to during his training with the League of Assassins.
It was only for this reason that he risked falling forward. Fortunately for him, he was promptly grabbed by the boy. It was a strong, solid grip, and definitely not a hallucination.
Damian looked up, meeting eyes that reminded him of a dead man, and the other said, "You confused me with another person. My name is not Richard. It's Lance."
(During his imprisonment on an alien ship, after sacrificing himself to save Earth, Damian meets a boy who reminds him terribly of his dead brother. He can't be who he believes, but the resemblance is striking, and Damian just wants to believe that something left by Dick Grayson still exists.)

Summary
Lance runs.
He runs from his dysfunctional family, from the shouting and the shaming and the constant exhaustion. He runs from the burden of raising his sister’s kids, and the dreams weighing him down like nightmares.
His family will be better off without him, anyhow.

The angel was now muttering to himself with a distinct southern twang. Lance had never heard of angels with Texan accents... so maybe...
“You’re not an angel,” he slurred. The not-angel let out a huff of laughter.
“Yeah, no. Can you move? Why are you even in the middle of the desert?” This not-angel was rather pushy, Lance decided. He needed to learn his manners. Would it kill him to say ‘please?’
“Go ‘way,” he mumbled petulantly.
“C’mon, I can’t leave you half-dead on the side of the road,” the not-angel pleaded, a hint of frustration slipping into his voice. "Work with me here.”
Lance squinted at him. Slowly, his night vision improved, and the outline of his savior began to take shape.

The girl behind the desk skimmed over the screen after Lance scribbled his name and handed it back. She clicked a few things on her computer and then gave a bright, too-cheerful smile that immediately made Lance suspicious.
The girl glanced at her tablet, scrolling. “You’re in luck. There’s one tutor free right now. Keith Kogane.”
Pidge immediately snorted. Lance’s stomach dropped.
“You know what?” he said, already stepping back. “I think I’m good. Actually. I’m feeling a lot better about centrifugal forces and... whatever. We’ll just call it character development.”Lance is gloriously failing AP Physics C and winds up at the student center desperate for help in order to pass the midterm and just as luck would have it, he ends up being tutored by the one person in his class that he can’t stand.

Summary
Everyone has a pair of wings that reflects who they are. But nobody could see anyone else's except their soulmate's. Keith knew he had a soulmate out there, but he had no idea who they were. He would see everyone with their soulmates, and he knew he was missing out on something amazing.
Until the day he sees them. A boy with wings so damaged, it's a miracle they still move. It's a miracle he's still here.
Of course, it's not as easy as walking up to him and falling in love. In fact, the fear and hurt his soulmate went through shows Keith the importance of patience. And for someone like Lance? That patience is more than worth it.

In Lance’s cupped hands rests the biggest wasp Hunk has ever seen. Its body and legs are a bright blue-green, and its huge wings are a frightening shade of orange. Its stinger is long and large enough to be visible and also very sharp. The insect takes up Lance’s whole hand.
“Wow, an adult tarantula hawk wasp! Just buzzin’ around!” Lance’s voice sounds completely awed, and he’s also completely oblivious to Hunk’s mute terror. He knows about these wasps. Lance talks about them frequently — they are known for having the most painful sting of any bug in the insect kingdom.
And Lance is holding it. With his bare hands.

When one tenuous new alliance is threatened by Galran Separatists, the Coalition sends its flagship, the IGF-Atlas, on a diplomatic mission to the planet Joraq.
Keith has had his fair share of risky assignments during his time as a Blade of Marmora spy and undercover agent. But when he’s sent to Atlas to aid in a diplomatic mission, Keith has to face the people he left behind and the feelings he ran away from. Another scrap of parchment shot out of the cup, a fourth scrap of parchment, which made no sense at all, and the Headmaster grabbed it from the air, unrolling it and reading it quietly.
The entirety of the Great Hall remained silent. It was as quiet as a tomb.
“Lance Álvarez?” The Headmaster whispered, and then again, louder. “Lance Álvarez.”
Wait, what?
// Lance and Keith have always been battling it out: on the Quidditch field, in the duelling club, for the best marks in Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Keith always manages to come out in the lead.
Now, the Triwizard Tournament has been announced and Lance knows that Keith is going to beat him for the only open spot, even if he pretends that he thinks otherwise. But it doesn’t quite go the way that Lance expects, and everything changes from there.
