Summary
The sharp crack rings out through the clearing.
Heads whip around to see Merlin lying on his side, painfully still. Any remaining bandits die in an instant, corpses kicked aside as the knights rush to converge around the fallen body. Lancelot is the first to arrive, sword dropped as soon as he gets close enough to hover his hands over Merlin's form.
"Tell me where it hurts," he whispers, eyes on Merlin's ghostly face, "let me help, please, Merlin, what happened?"

Merlin is reluctantly dragged on a hunting trip by Arthur and the knights. As they venture into the forest, Merlin faces danger when he is ambushed by Cenred's men. With quick thinking and magical intervention, he manages to alert Arthur and the knights, leading to a chaotic battle against the attackers. Merlin fears an even greater threat looming on the horizon, and then she appears, with knowledge that could crumble his whole life.

He listened to Gaius, who had told him it was in his head, but many years later, he finds a strange feather right after a chandelier had crushed a witch who'd been attempting to kill him. Arthur's certain he didn't imagine it; something was watching over him.

He left the house and got bitten. A warlock, and now a vampire, well the fates would just have to deal with it. A drabble of Merlin's life, now as a vampire as he lives in Camelot, especially after Arthur finds out. Will be open to prompts for additional chapter, but there will probably be slow updating (Sorry!!)
