Summary

Written in the style of the Naruto Hiden series of light novels.
Rasa of the Kazekage Clan, Father of the sand siblings Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara, is not known as the world's best father, but only because his story of tragedy and loss has never been told. When a man loses everything, the fall into bitterness and despair is inevitable. The Shinobi world is littered in tragic stories of lives ruined by policy and war. Rasa and his children are no exception.
Rasa never wanted to be Kazekage. Rasa never wanted his child to become a demon vessel. Rasa never wanted to lose his beloved wife. He lost everything in life, before losing his life itself. Even in death, he does not find peace. Will he ever be able to make things right for Gaara?
