Summary
In the midst of it all, of the bodies of the enemy cut apart, Jiang Cheng stood. In his right hand was a silver sword, glowing in intensity and untouched by all the blood around them.
On Jiang Cheng's left hand was a silver ring, and holding Wei Ying, who was slumped against his shidi's hold. His eyes are closed, breathing even, though his face didn't look like he was having a peaceful sleep.
Then, more enemies in red came rushing in. They were running low on fierce corpses that are on their side--and they can't exactly demand Wei Ying to summon more, as he's still unconscious.
Jiang Cheng's Almond eyes met Gold ones, as white robes landed beside the purple-robed acting Sect Leader. Carefully, Wei Ying's unconscious form is transferred to Lan Zhan's hold.
"If anything happens to him", Jiang Cheng warned, eyes flashing dangerously. "I'll break your legs."
Without waiting for a reply, the acting Sect Leader summoned Zidian and raised the silver sword--his shixiong's soul in sword form. He fought once more.
In which Jiang Cheng gains the ability to turn hearts into literal tools, and Wei Ying is his most powerful weapon.

War has been avoided and the Cloud Recesses classes were postponed due to the political shift resulting in the end and new begining of the Wen Sect, but still Wei Wuxian manages to knock Jin Zixuan's lights out. This results in the termination of Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan's engagement.
A new proposal is given to Jiang Yanli instead. To marry the Lan-Er-Gongzi, Lan Wangji. Accepting the proposal and going through with it were two different things though, and what else could Wei Wuxian do but to be her in her place? It was his fault after all that she is in this predicament! It couldn't be so bad pretending to be Jiang Yanli and marrying Lan Wangji! Right? He should have prepared better.
In which Wei Wuxian pretends to be Jiang Yanli and marries Lan Wangji. It's a shame that even though the cultivation world managed to avoid the threat that was the Wen Sect, another problem began to rise.

When she wakes up, A-Jie will be a better Sect Leader than him. If he had a last request of his Jie, it would be to check-in for Jin Ling. Jiang Cheng knows that Jin Ling would appreciate knowing his mother; as a child, he was always hungry for stories — Jiang Cheng had managed a few stories through tear-filled eyes in the dead of night — and A-Ling would love his mother. He’d finally get his ‘maternal education’ if it wasn’t too late.
